ENTSO-E, the European Network of Transmission System Operators, represents 43 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) from 36 countries across Europe. ENTSO-E was established and given legal mandates by the EU’s Third Legislative Package for the Internal Energy Market in 2009, which aims to further liberalise the gas and electricity markets in the EU.

Nordic RSC was founded in 2016 and provides services to the four Nordic TSOs: Energinet in Denmark, Fingrid in Finland, Statnett in Norway and Svenska Kraftnät in Sweden. The 18 staff coming from the four TSOs work partially in shift and with ongoing development of the services provided to the TSOs. The Copenhagen-based Nordic RSC embodies the strong Nordic cooperation needed to maintain reliable power supply now and in the future.
